Bookings

Who can play padel?

Padel is a very inclusive sport that can be enjoyed by all ages and levels. It's a game for everyone.

Are your courts family friendly?

The majority of our sites are family-friendly and often offer other activities for the whole family to enjoy. Sadly we can't have under 12s on our courts at Daylesford Farm.

How do I book a court?

It's really easy to book a court. You need to create an account with our booking software platform MATCHi (you can either sign up online or download the MATCHi app) You then need to navigate to your preferred Padel Shift location and book your court in.

When are your courts open?

Our courts are open at all sites from 07.00 - 22.00.

Do you offer memberships?

We don't currently offer memberships at any of our sites. We are purely a pay-and-play facility. We are looking to introduce memberships soon so sign up to our newsletter and social media channels for news on this.

How far in advance can I book courts?

You can book courts up to two weeks in advance. f you would like to book a court further in advance please contact hello@padelshift.com with your enquiry.

Are dogs allowed?

We allow dogs at our sites with the exception of The Club by Bamford, Daylesford where dogs are not permitted within The Club premises.

Is there parking on site?

Yes there is parking available at all our sites.

Are there changing rooms on site?

We don't currently offer changing facilities on site but there are toilets nearby all our courts.

Is there food and drink on site?

There are food and drink options at all our sites. Water is available right next to the courts.  

Are your courts under cover?

Our courts are currently not under cover but our own bespoke canopies are coming soon.

How can I join club tournaments and leagues?

There's plenty of opportunity to get involved in tournaments and leagues with us. Please email hello@padelshift.com for more information on this.

How do I find other people to play with?

Our booking software, MATCHi, also offers an easy way of finding other players that are similar to your level and in your location. We also have very active WhatsApp group which are put together based on level and location. Email if hello@padelshift.com if you'd like to be added to these.

What is your cancellation policy?

To receive a full refund for your court booking please cancel your booking more than 24 hours before.  After 24 hours, we don't offer refunds (unless the courts are unplayable due to heavy rain or standing water on an outdoor court - please see our rain policy for more details on this)

Shop

How do you use to ship products?

We use Evri to ship our products to you. It is a standard tracked shipping service which takes approximately 3 - 5 days to reach you.

What's your return policy?

We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days on our products if they haven't been used. If your item arrives damaged please get in touch with us so we can help. Please make all returns to Padel Shift, 103 Black Lion Lane, London, W6 9BG.

Coaching

Do you offer private coaching?

Yes we do offer private coaching. Please email hello@padelshift.com to arrange this.

Do you run introductory padel lessons?

We run Intro to Padels at all our sites which are group coaching activities and a great way to get started.

Do you offer group coaching sessions?

Our Head of Padel has put together a brilliant programme at all our sites with something for all levels and interests. Please check MATCHi for the live schedule.

Do you offer coaching for juniors?

Yes we do. Our coaches can coach anyone at any skill level. We also run a Junior Ballers programme in school holidays which are padel and multi sport days for kids.

Equipment

Is there equipment available to rent?

Yes you can rent rackets and buy balls at all our locations. You need to download the LOVA app to access the equipment you need, which is located in vending machines right next to our courts.

What's the best rackets for beginners?

Padel rackets come in three designs: round, drop-shaped, and diamond-shaped. Constructed from EVA foam material, these rackets feature perforations and boast a shorter, more compact form compared to tennis rackets.

The LTA advise that novices begin with a round racket, as it provides optimal control. Additionally, junior rackets tailored for children are offered, featuring lighter weight and shorter grips for enhanced usability.

Do you have a dress code?

Padel is a relaxed and informal game which means there is no dress code, please feel free to wear whatever you find most comfortable.

Generally, opting for sportswear and a comfortable pair of trainers is recommended.

Specialised padel trainers are available, tailored to the demands of the playing surface. Please email hello@padelshift.com if you want more help on this.

Building courts

How do I get Padel Shift at my site?

We are always on the look out for new sites to set Padel Shift up in. We have and tried and tested model but can work flexibly with landlords to bring the best padel experience to that particularly location. Please email hello@padelshift.com to begin the conversation.

I want to build a private court, can you help?

Events

Can I run a private event with Padel Shift?

Definitely! We love hosting events at Padel Shift and can work with you to tailor something to suit your needs - be it a children's birthday party, a corporate day or just a gathering of pals. Email hello@padelshift.com with your enquiry.
